How to calculate Bricks in wall
.. Area of wall
hight 12'
width 4.5'' (in feet 0.375')
length 12'
Total volume 12 x 0.375 x 12
= 54 cubic feet
.. we know
one brick size is
hight 3''
length 9''
width 4.5''
we know that all brick volume is in inches so we convert in feet
we know in 1 feet =12 inch
so volume is
IN FEET
Hight =3/12 =0.25
length=9/12=0,75
width = 4.5/12 =0.375
so ,
volume foremula is
length x width x hight
= 0.75 x 0.375 x 0.25
= 0.070
we have find volume of one brick =0.070
so total bricks is = 54/0.070
= 771 bricks
but , this bricks are only for without mortar
with mortar = 771 -10%
=694.2 means 695 bricks are required for wall
